We deliver within a radius of 100 miles from the Dallas TX metro area. (See below for time limits. $1.00 per mile charge applies after 50 miles).  Booking is not guaranteed until 50 % deposit is received. We cannot book anything (other than memorials) later than 3 weeks before requested date. Balance is due 2 weeks before delivery of birds. Please order early to ensure service. Mailed payments accepted as personal check or postal money order. Personal checks must clear before delivery. Memorial, funeral and gravesite services payment arrangement differs from other displays / releases. Please see information below & email us for policy details. We do not provide doves for unsupervised self-releases. Additional charge for participant hand-release.  We must have cancellation notification no later than 7 business days before delivery date, or refund is forfeited. Any refund due will be mailed within 5 business days of original booked date. Dove requests for photo sessions are handled on an individual basis. Please call for information.

• No inside releases and no dusk or night releases. Doves do not fly at night and would be disoriented and lost, injured or killed if released inside or without enough time to return home.
• Although there are few weather conditions that would preclude release, we reserve the right to cancel releases and refund payment due to inclement weather.
• Our release baskets & cages must be used to hold birds until release and may not be omitted from order to reduce rental price.
• Business functions reserving higher numbers of birds for large events are by prearrangement 6 weeks in advance.
• We reserve the right to cancel release & refund payment if conditions surrounding the event appear unsafe upon arrival & inspection of premises and/or event procedures. Birds are not fed prior to event assuring embarrassment free release/display.

Memorial Services (gravesite ceremonies): You may request your funeral home to contact us and make arrangements, however, if they will not, the individual making the reservation for a white dove release and / or display for a memorial, funeral, or graveside service must personally do the following at the time the order is made: 

    1. Indicate what the occasion is, the time of the event, the time that the release is to be performed or display is to start and include detailed information (such as release sequence, timing with music, etc., & timing with other services that will be included). More detailed information may be required in addition to the above during the order process. Pinions Above cannot be responsible for coordination with other service providers, officiants, or family.

    2. Ensure you have provided event officiants / directors with our contact information, the arrangements you are planning and awareness that they will need to confirm details with our handler (signals for release, who will be doing the signaling, etc.) with them before the event. Again, we cannot be responsible for contacting officiants or other service providers, except for emergency cancellation. As directors, this is their responsibility.

    3. Provide us with a 24 hour contact name & phone number of an officiant for the ceremony.  This is so that we may notify your director or officiant in the event we must make an emergency cancellation or have encountered an unavoidable delay such as a traffic accident.

• Please have all of the above information ready at hand before calling to order. You may be requested to call back later or leave a message at a different number, as we may be involved in a service at the time of your call. We cannot give you a set price for funeral releases / displays without the above information.
• Prices listed on this website and in our brochures are for a maximum time period of 2 hours between set up & release, and/or set up & pickup for displays, where events are prepaid 2 weeks in advance. As funeral payment is different, the time element must be considered and the welfare of our birds must be considered. Season and weather is a factor in this. At times we have other reservations scheduled after your service (outdoor displays can be scheduled for early evenings in late spring & summer).  

Pinions Above cannot be responsible for coordinating with various event officials and family preferences. At present, most funeral directors and officiants are not aware of the need for pre-coordination with dove release companies, therefore the person who is ordering must do this. We do not wish to further stress family members with repeated phone calls at an emotionally difficult time. We will attempt to accommodate last minute changes on site due to misinformation, but can make no guarantees.

Changes at site of service to original order may incur an extra charge payable before doves will be released. This arrangement has become necessary due to loss of our birds in cases where individuals ordering a release failed to provide complete event details and coordinate at the time of ordering.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

"MUST HAVE" INFORMATION:

   1. WHAT is the event? (wedding, vow restatement, etc.)

   2. WHEN is the event? (please include date AND am or pm)

   3. WHERE is the event? (a zip code/nearest town is O.K. at this stage)

   4. HOW many doves? (available packages & prices listed below)

   5. WHO will release the doves? (us, or event participant/s)

   6. IS the release intended to be a gift for someone else? (please indicate if so)

Doves need at least an hour for each 60 miles to arrive safely home at their loft. Adverse weather conditions on the doves' route will increase the time needed to return. Since they will not have been fed for 24 hours, and may have another event on the next day, we ask that you allow both time for the flight and time for feeding upon arrival. Adverse weather conditions may also require a change of planned release time, or substitution of a display instead. For weddings or other planned events, please email for questionnaire. No releases over 45 miles after 6 pm May to August or after 2 pm September to April. Two white doves in a lovely decorative bird cage for display only (no release). So nice for entryways and photographs.    

Flock Release Package # 4               $450
Thirty white birds in wooden release cages. Cage (shown in white & also available in natural wood) can be draped or decorated with colored ribbons or silk flowers to suit your occasion.

Custom Release Package # 5           $650
Over thirty & up to fifty birds in wooden cages. Suitable for larger events such as Grand Openings. Requests for more than fifty birds will require special arrangements. Please contact us for details.
